I have two primary formats I teach private lessons with; weekly and intensive. Weekly lessons aren’t always weekly, but they basically run with the format of taking a lesson, practicing in between, and repeating. The intensive format has a more concentrated structure and is better suited to people looking to break creative blocks, get more comfortable practicing on their own, or who have limited periods of free time.
Subjects I teach
- Bass Guitar
- Recording/Audio Production
- Music Theory
- Ear Training
- Sitar/Hindustani Classical
For those who wish to form a personal educational bond/pact/project with me, here is the deal. For people who can afford it, I generally ask for a flat rate structure which goes something like this…
$25 – Half hour lesson
$35 – 45 minute lesson
$40 – Hour lesson
Scholarships and Work-Study Option
if you’re hard-up for cash but really are willing to work, read my scholarships blurb and then contact me and we can talk about a work-study program. My first priority is educating people, so don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to work together no matter what your circumstances are.
This is a new format that I have applied to many different courses I have already developed and some new topics as well. They help the student get more in the groove and make a lot of progress in a short period of time. These are ideal for adult students who may have a vacation or break between busy periods when they can devote a lot of time to improving.
