After an Afternoon Guitar Lesson

This song has a rare air of intimacy about it, really worth learning just for the vibe it catches. It also has some interesting technical qualities; an intricate 3-3-2 type rhythm pattern that’s unlike any I’ve ever seen in a guitar song and an excellent example of how to simplify a groove for singing. I’ll explain the details of how it’s played as well as how to simplify the guitar for the singing parts as the series goes on.
